BARPROOF AWARDS will determine winners 2019

On the 2nd of September Barproof Awards, a prominent professional bar awards origin from Russia, will determine the best of industry specialists, products and bars 2019. Professionals are evaluated by professionals in 18 nominations for Russia and 20 nominations for CIS. This is the 4th time, Barproof takes place. DCW Magazine is a media partner of the Awards. From professionals to professionals

Authorities of the Industry from various countries elaborated 18 nominations for Russian specialists and 20 – for representatives of CIS. The winners are chosen by Trophy vote system: professionals vote for professionals, choosing the best in a category.

Year after year there are more and more participants. In 2018 there were over 700 nominees from 500 bars and restaurants. In 2019 there is over 850 nominees from 550 places. This year nominees come from 70 cities and 14 countries (Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belorussia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Russia).

Golden Areometer

The winners will get a prize – a symbolic measurer of their proficiency – “Golden Areometer” statue. The ceremony will take place in Saint-Petersburg. Guests and participants will dive into 70-ies – 80-ies retro-party. On the 2nd of September, concert-hall Aurora will host a rockin’ party with vintage cocktails, disco-music and special dress-code.

BARPROOF AWARDS determines best bars and attract attention to the places out of the capitals, all around Russia and CIS. A catalogue issued by the Awards, helps gastro-tourists to navigate through local bar-life. Moreover prize-winners make bar tours, and there are master-classes by industry leaders within the Awards.
